Ita was born from a love of good food and of gatherings worth taking time for. Its character comes from the flavours of southern Europe: Italian pasta, grilled meats and roasted vegetables inspired by Balkan cooking.
It is our own take on two culinary worlds on either side of the Adriatic, united by generosity and the joy of eating together. At Ita, what happens around the table – conversation, connection and hospitality – matters as much as what is on the plate.

Italian pasta is the foundation of Ita's kitchen, joined by meat and vegetable dishes inspired by the Balkans. The menu is defined by bold flavours, the aroma of the grill, Italian produce and generous plates.
We treat our inspirations as a starting point, not a closed set of rules. We combine them deliberately, drawing on experience and our own culinary imagination. Quality, flavour and the pleasure of eating always come first.

Ita is housed in a historic townhouse on Józefińska Street, right by the Bernatka Footbridge. A distinctive address on Kraków's culinary map, part of the neighbourly rhythm of Old Podgórze.
The nearby Vistula and one of Podgórze's most recognisable neighbourhoods give every gathering an extra sense of place.
