About

Italian inspiration. Balkan hospitality.

Ita. Southern flavours and a place to get together.

Ita was born from a love of good food and of gatherings worth taking time for. Its character comes from the flavours of southern Europe: Italian pasta, grilled meats and roasted vegetables inspired by Balkan cooking.

It is our own take on two culinary worlds on either side of the Adriatic, united by generosity and the joy of eating together. At Ita, what happens around the table – conversation, connection and hospitality – matters as much as what is on the plate.

In the heart of Old Podgórze.

Ita is housed in a historic townhouse on Józefińska Street, right by the Bernatka Footbridge. A distinctive address on Kraków's culinary map, part of the neighbourly rhythm of Old Podgórze.

The restaurant spans 500 m² with several spacious rooms, each with its own character. Historic architecture is complemented by colour, contemporary design and Mediterranean inspiration – a space with a strong identity, professional in character yet far from formal.

The nearby Vistula and one of Podgórze's most recognisable neighbourhoods give every gathering an extra sense of place.
